Where, are dinosaur fossils found?

Fossils, of course, are the remains of plants and animals that lived long ago  Moat of them have been preserved through the ages in sedimentary rocks, layers of mud and silt which gradually dried and became hard  Since there are sedimentary rooks in about three quarters of the earth's land area, we can hunt for fossils almost everywhere

The dinosaurs, big ones and small ones, dominated the w rld about 100 million years ago and their fossil remains have been found ~countless different planes, In North America, these ancient remains seem to have been preserved best in the high and dry region of the Rocky Mountains, especially along its eastern slopes  The best places for an American fossil hunter to search for dinosaur bones are Wyoming and Colorado, and in Alberta in Canada,
