Where is the anaconda found?
The anaconda is found in the warm wet forests of South America. H© is very often a Brazilian. The anaconda is a boa snake who crushes his prey. Fully grown he is strong enough to crush a small deer. However, he usually feeds on small game.
In the tropical ,jungles he is at home on the ground, in the trees and in the water. He can always be recognized by a double row of dark spots down his back. Fully grown, he may be 28 feet long, or more. And there is no doubt that the anaconda is the largest snake in the New World.
