What do baby whales eat?

A baby whale is a mammal and like every mammal baby in the world he is fed on mother’s milk. The big mamma whales are very loving and tender with their little ones end go to a great deal of trouble to see that Junior does not gulp down salt water with his milk. The mama whale takes her baby to the surface and rolls over her massive bulk so that he can feed and rest comfortably in the air.

Later on, his diet will depend upon what kind of a whale he is, If he is a toothed vi=hale he will be taught to catch is:3 and giant squid who live in the deep ocean, If he is a b~:3leen whale.. he will be taught to open and close his big mouth to sift out the soft plankton from sea water. In either case, he will feed on mother's milk far a long time before he takes his first solid food.
