Where do robins spend the winter?
Robin Redbreast spends the summer throughout the central states, in New England and in Canada. He deserts these areas in the fall and flies south to less chilly climates. He may take his family way south to Florida, the Gulf states and Texas. He may go further south to Mexico. There are some regions of North America where the robin is a permanent year round resident.
Throughout the year there are robins in California and the Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama. Robins are permanent residents also in the southwestern deserts of Arizona and New Mexico.
