Will there ever be another Ice Age?

The records show that there have been many Ice Ages in the age long history of the earth. We know a lot about them, when they occurred and how long they lasted. But we do not know what caused them. We do not know for sure why the great glaciers crept down over the land and then receded. This is why we do not know when to expect another Ice Age or even whether there will ever be one.

Thoughtless people think that time is wasted by studying the earth's past and the heavens around us. Here is an answer for them. Someday we shall discover what caused the Ice Ages. Only then can we knew when and if to expect another one and make our plans to cope with it.
