Is it true that there is gold in the sea?

Yes, indeed,.there is gold in the sea. There is enough gold in the world oceans for every living person to build himself a golden chair on which to sit. But nobody is going to get at this vast store of golden treasure in a hurry. For it is dissolved in sea water along with a vast assortment of other dissolved chemicals.

It may be possible to separate the finer than fine particles of gold dissolved in the salty sea but the cost would be enormous. So far, no one has found an easy way to take the ocean’s gold and our present methods cost more than the gold is worth.
