What language do the Eskimos speak?
What a lot of misunderstandings would be avoided if people all around the world spoke the same language. Well,, the Eskimos have solved this problem. They live, of course, clear around the top of the world through Alaska and Siberia. There are about 50,000 of them and any Eskimo can understand another Eskimo, clear around the world. For they all speak the same native language.
The Eskimo language is Eskimoan, It was a spoken language only until missionaries taught the Eskimos how to write and read it. Many Eskimos have a second languages perhaps English Danish or Greenlandic. But they all understand each other when they use Eskimoan. You know a few Eskimoan words also. Igloo, parka anal kayak are Eskimo words known clear around the world.
