Jeff Zambory, age 10, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada for his question:
Where was the Garden of Eden?
It would be nice to go back to this wondrous place where the first human family began. At least, it would be nice to pay a visit, to enjoy the springtime weather and admire the friendly fruit trees. Many people have hoped and dreamed of finding the Garden of Eden. But, so far, nobody has found it and nobody is certain just where to look. All we can do is make a guess.
Some people suspect that the Garden of Eden was around the far end of the Mediterranean Sea. Perhaps two of its four streams were the Tigris and Euphrates rivers of ancient Mesopotamia. The other two may have been the Nile River and the Persian Gulf. Nowadays, these regions of the Middle East have sandy deserts. If this was the Garden of Eden ages ago, the gorgeous green trees, the flowers and fruits no longer grow wild there.
