WHO WAS SIR ISAAC NEWTON?

Sir Isaac Newton, one of the greatest scientists of all time, is best known for his discovery of the law of universal gravitation and the laws of motion. A great deal of modern science is based on the understanding and use of his laws.

At first Isaac found school uninteresting, and he spent his time writing or inventing toys or testing various theories. At 18 he began astounding professors at Trinity College in Cambridge University with his uncanny grasp of complicated mathematics.and physics. After graduating from Trinity College in 1665, Isaac Newton spent the next 18 months on the family farm in Woolsthorpe. Here he laid the foundation for his life's work, developing what is now called calculus and various theories concerning the motion of objects.
