How many of the state flags are blue?

Without question, blue seems to be the favorite color when it comes to the official flags of our 48 states. No less that twenty two states have chosen a solid blue flag with central insignia    the center insignia and inscriptions tell which flag belongs to which state.

Altogether, our state flags make a very showy display. Naturally, you would recognize your own state flag. But it is often fun to be able to recognize the official flags of other states.
