How big is an eskimo dog?
In appearance, this sturdy fellow might remind you of a wolf. Which is not surprising, for he is thought to be but recently descended from the big, grey wolf of the earth.
The average eskimo dog stands about 20 inches tall. Once in a while a large specimen is two feet or even 25 inches high. Full grown these huskies weigh from 50 to 85 pounds. They are able to endure blizzards and bitter weather because they have two fur coats an outer coat of thick hair and an under jacket of soft wool.
